Does anybody go to a school in the United states here they either paddle or ruler .wich one do they have?

I have worked in the school system for 22 years and corporal punishment is no more. When I grew up the paddle was the culprit, sometimes the ruler.

in public schools they use none of those. In private schools they use the ruler when i was there. That was about 7 years ago in Elementary school.
