Anyone familiar with ?Simple Tech External Harddrive?

I bought one today. It's a very need slick design. However, what do I need to know only what I want to store on it it's my music and my pictures. What do I need to know? Its running right now, when do I know when it's finished storing stuff?

when you load files you will see graphics with a blue line moving along from left to right when it as finished the file so loaded onto the drive

There should be a little activity light on the drive. Just always right click on the drive and choose eject. That way the computer will tell you if it's busy and you won't mess up any files.
