You can't survive without both. They work hand in hand. Do something you love to get money.

Your question isn't entirely clear, but I think I understand what your getting at...
Money isn't good or bad any more than a rock is good or bad. What is bad, is how money influences people by revealing (or corrupting) true intentions.
Money supposes the position of power... It is what you choose to do with that power that is important.
If you have money and you spend it on bettering the lives of those you love and those less fortunate than yourself, is that not good? If you use it to influence and control those around you, is that not bad?
Ultimately, forget what everyone says in an attempt to disenfranchise themselves with material things ("money is the root of all evil..."), and items of influence. All that matters is, if you are given the position to do good, will you?
But, now let's answer the other half of that question...
"Love can't buy a burger or a tenderloin steak..."
If it weren't for (hu)man's self-righteous, judgmental attitudes and power-trips, there would be no need for money. If you had a friend who owned a herd of cattle, and who really loved you, he'd share the fruits of his labors, and you'd have your burger and tenderloin.
I hope that helps.

I have no money. And I mean that. I've been out of work for two months now and can't keep a job. I have a girl who no matter how bad it gets, won't leave me. I feel like I'm drowning and am pulling her down with me but she's still by my side. I may not have a tenderloin steak but I have the love of someone who means the world to me. I'm also a vegetarian.

Ah.
The burden of tools.
Money a tool. So is a burger or a steak. Some people exchange goods, calling it barter. I would gladly pay you Tuesday if you buy me a burger today..
When we used cash it is a soft way of coming to an agreement as to what the burger or tender steak is worth. Working for a meal is another way of getting food.
Or if you are the one who has the burger or tender steak you could get someone to mow your lawn, trim your trees, and wax your back in exchange for it.

Say you were stranded in a wilderness and you had a few thousand dollars in your handbag but that was all. What are you gonna do? Eat your money? Build a shelter out of it?
Money has not been around as long as people. It developed over time. Why everyone seems to think it makes the world go round is beyond me.

Money is a tool that is essential and needed to survive through this life and can not be compared with love which is an essential emotional element in life. Both are of equal importance operating in diferent capacities. A person with money but void of love can still survive this life although unhappy. A person with love but void of money can still survive this life but happily.

Well, which would you rather loose, money that always comes and goes, or someone that is going to be there for you through everything? Money is fixation on the external, it will never show you or know love. It will never buy enough drinks to make you feel complete.

Sometimes love comes into our lives before we are ready to support ourselves without help.
Just because we are surprised by love it doesn't mean our love is less real.
And even when money seems secure; there is no guarantee that love will endure.
It seems we must work to live and to love.
Both have their rewards.
