I think it's kind of sad to know that to this day some women beleive that all women were made to be are recepticles for male sperm, incubators and feeding machines. Some of us when we had our children CHOSE to not breastfeed. Breastfeeding is NOT always the best when a new mom is uncomfortable with it, she can pass that feeling of discomfort to the baby. There are also women with medical problems that require them to take drugs that would be dangerous to say the least if passed through to the baby. The best FORMULA is one you have had the most success with. I never had any problems with similac...and my daughter grew up just as healthy as her breastfed peers.

Just today I read a few articles citing Enfamil Lipil is the best formula for infants as it contains DHA & ARA supplements which are best for babies eye and brain development. Below are the links where I was reading about Enfamil.

Also I have heard from many people that Enfamil is the best. Please find out about all the different types of enfamil formula available before you choose the right one for your baby.
I am still feeding my baby breastmilk and I am going to try Enfamil on him today.

Some things you should know:
Breast milk is best.
All formula is FDA regulated (meaning generic is just a good nutritionally as the name brands)
Cow's milk based formula is better nutritionally than soy formula.
All that being said: In my work and personal life I've heard many a mom say Carnation Good Start was the only formula they could take.

There really is no best...I get the store brand and it works great with my sons system...they just came out with a gentle brand and it works even better...plus it helps the pocket a little. I compared everything in it and it's the same as the "name-brands". It pretty much depends on what your baby's digestive system agrees with.

They all have to pass the same requirements to be sold, so it depends on your baby's preference. And you find out after birth.

s26 is what they provided in my hospital (except they didn't mean to tell me that) It is definitely one of the best and I have had no trouble with it.
