I have two NESs and neither of them seem to work well with certain games, could anybody tell me how to clean the games/consoles well?
Thanks!!

you can get the security bits to open up the games off sites like ebay - then clean the chip's teeth with rubbing alcohol (it's also a great cleanser because it evaporates quickly)

replacing the 72-pin connector is also going to help a lot - online sites like ebay is an easy place to find these - http://video-games.search.ebay.com/72-pin_Connectors_W0QQcatrefZC6QQfgtpZQQfposZ19115QQfromZR2QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQlopgZQQsacatZ41046QQsadisZ200QQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZbs - word of caution though, after shipping and handling, it shouldn't be more than 8 bucks. if it is, someone's trying to screw you, choose a different sale

when you replace a pin connector, do not put games that haven't also been cleaned into the system

I used to take the new system apart an dclean the pins with just alcohol and Q-tips also works the same with the games and it seemed to work great, just time consumig cause I had a lot of games.

Not exactly sure how well this will work for you, but I remember when I had my system I had problems with that also I would just wet a rag and take and shove the corner in the actual game and clean both sides of the "teeth". It always seemed to help me, not sure if that will hurt your game but I know it didn't hurt mine and really got it to work.
