Well I have many favorites all equally favorite, so I'll list them all!
Son Gokuu (DB/DBZ): I like him when he's young, cause he's so happy and carefree, yet very powerful.
Uzumaki Naruto (Naruto): I like Naruto because he's very determined and he never let's people tell him he can't do something. He's very competitive, and is creative. (Who else woulda thought of the sexy jutsu?)
Mokona Modoki (tsubasa) (white): I Love Mokona, Mokona is very playful and loves people, and he's so squishy, soft and jiggly.
Syaoran (tsubasa version): Syaoran is also determined. He is very polite, but sad and mysterious. He's an all-around good guy.
And I have more, but I don't feel like listing them at the moment.

Mihoshi from the Tenchi Muyo series...
She is such a ditz - I cant help but love her...
My number two is Washu from the same series because she is so out there and frank and open and wacky...
I like many of the other Anime characters out there too, but those two are my favorites.

It's Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura. She's a believable character, with her distinct fears, dreams, and lifestyle. She may be a bit oblivious at times, but at least she has more characterization than Ash Ketchum.

Ash Ketchum from Pokemon. I don't like the rest of the anime. It sucks. American, British, and Canadian Animation rocks.

Nara Shikamaru from Naruto because he's wise and cool. He got me really impressed during the Chuunin Exam...but that's another story.

Naruto: He is cute and kind to others. He protects those that are precious to him.
Hinata: She is just so sweet and I can sort of relate to her and her attitude.

Sesshoumaru from inuyasha. He is so cool and cold hearted and no doubt strong, he really inspires me and he doesn't fall for women easily like inuyasha does.
