They have ordinary stand offs at the home improvement stores. But I'm looking for the kind that hooks onto the roof. I have a deep soffit(?) and I need to install some gutters. Where do I buy one??

I think we got ours at Lowe's. We also have an old 16' fire department roof ladder... The FD ladder is rated at 500 lbs so it is nice and steady...

We call those chicken ladders in our industry. Your best source is to call a roofing distributor like ABC Supply Co. or Allied Building Supply....... Check the yellow pages under roofing distributors.
