who has been sterilised,and what was recovery like?

Depends which way you were sterilised .By keyhole you would recover with less pain but still uncomfortable.And if you had a stomache insission it will be more painful .but in both cases it will take about six weeks to recover.Hope this helps you

The only things I remember were coming round and thinking an elephant was standing on my stomach & watching Eddie Murphy on video the next day & literally crying with laughter coz he was funny but the pain from laughing wasn't.
Was up and about within a couple of days & back to work in a week, just didn't lift anything heavy.

The best bit is not being allowed to push a vacuum cleaner round for 6 weeks! The worst bit was the enema the night before to make some room in the abdominal cavity - don't remember being inflated

Me. The worst bit was they pump your insides full of air to seperate the various bits so they can get at the tubes.
That has to dissipate and it tends to be painful. Mine was in my shoulders for a few days which was uncomfortable. Apart from that there were no probs. And a bit of a sore throat which they said was from the anaesthetic.

I had it done and to be honest had no problems except for the stitch in my belly button catching on clothing not as bad as having a bad tooth extracted badly

i had mine done through keyhole surgery and the only pain i had was because they pump your stomache with air.its like having bad wind but it was gone by the following day.

I had no problems at all, The worst was my hubby making me sit still... lol i was up and about after 3 days!!!!
