Yes, at the moment. I mean it's a fashion thing. A hundred or more years ago, no man would be seen without a moustache (even in the present day in some parts of the world), so I think if we wait long enough they'll be back again.

Actually, they went out of style in the 1st world war, because soldiers found they interfered with their gas masks. Even today, soldiers are only allowed to grow hair on certain parts of the face.

At different times, I've had a moustache, a beard, sideburns, and all sorts of variations. When I grew them, people said it didn't suit me, when I cut it off, they said it didn't suit me - you can't win!

Yes, there definitely is such a thing as a 'for goodness sake cut it off' moustache. Unfortunately those who sport them never seem to have a clue as to how creepy their moustaches look to others.

Yes. And yes. Although it's not what you would think (at least not for me). I find the handlebar moustaches to be rather cute. But when someone has just a tuft on their upper lip, it's pretty pitiful, and should just be cut off (think Hitler).

Yes. Often hanging under the noses of people with abnormally large bulbous appendages on their noses. Make their noses look far more protruding. Like underlining a grammatical error!

they can get a bit out of hand, the handlebar is usually the culprit, aside from some that like to grow it extra huge i think they look ok,

Handlebars, and yes. They usually have very long and antique sideburns, too. And, they usually think they are irresistible and God's gift to women!
