4:50 p.m.: She arrives at my door WAY before the agreed upon 7 p.m. She is dressed to kill. Magically hotalicious. The temperature goes up 10 degrees the second I open the door. "You need to know I don't do that on a first date," she says. "But technically our date doesn't start until 7. Wanna...?" She eyes me suggestively.
6:45 p.m. We share a shower. Why isn't that scrubbing off...oh, bitemarks. Never mind
7:00 p.m. We leave to begin our date. "I'm an enlightened 21st century woman," she says. "Since you're not going to score during this date, I'm paying. Deal?"
8:45 p.m. Absolutely wonderful date, sparkling conversation. She is the most captivating woman I've ever been with. I wish the night would go on forever.
9:30 p.m. She brings me back to my place. "This was a great first date, Bill," she smiles. "But all good things must end." I wistfully smile in agreement.
9:31 p.m. "Since our date has ended," she smiles, "you may as well invite me back in. Do you have any silk neckties and baby oil? There's something I want to try..."
We run inside.

First we would go to a restaurant that overlooks the ocean. After having dinner, we would walk down to the shore and walk barefoot in the water, holding hands as we continued our conversation from dinner. Maybe a little dancing, a lot of laughing, and a few stolen kisses in the water would make a perfect first date. May sound dumb to some, but it's perfect for me.

I always see those dating shows on TV where they do something outside of just dinner and a movie. I guess that gets old.
But I think doing something creative and fun where you can talk and enjoy each other is nice, then relax over a nice dinner.
Something like, going on a hike, horseback riding, maybe going out on the lake in one of those silly paddle boats, everyone loves those stupid things--then having a picnic or something. Or... I don't know. But whatever it is, if it leaves the two smiling and in care of a second date, that's great, right?

My idea of a perfect first date happened on my third date with my husband. It was fall, we went to the park and ate and then made out for three hours on a blanket. It rocked.
