I am not a huge fan of capital punishment, but Saddam is the poster child for keeping it legal. He killed off tens of thousands of swamp arabs, he drained the wetlands and destroyed a one of a kind ecosystem, he invaded Iran and caused a war that cost hundreds of thousands of lives, he butchered the Kurds from time to time, killing tens if not hundreds of thousands, his thugs raped women in front of their families, chopped people into pieces and sent the bodies to their families as a warning, his sons tortured and killed all over the country, he invaded Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, killing thousands more...
The down side is that the US sent/sold him $200,000,000 worth of weapons between 1983 and 1988 when he was fighting the war he started with the Ayatollah... The USSR sold him $30,000,000,000, tho, the French sold him $5,500,000,000, the Chinese sold him $5,100,000,000, the Egyptians sold him $568,000,000 and every body else sold him $2,100,000,000 worth.
$43Billion vs. $200Million
Which of course, means, to some, that he is the US's man, that we supported him and that we are being hypocrites now.
(Those numbers might give us a bit of an insight as to why the security council had a bit of a problem voting to call for action against Saddam, it is hard to vote against your business partner)

How many people has our president put to death? I'm not saying it's right or wrong because i don't know really but I do know that Saddam is being hung for the execution of people. How many people have been killed in this war on terror? Good people die all over at the hand of someone else. It's not fair to kill no matter the circumstance. You want people to pay for crimes they have done? Get audio and video of people's families that are affected by their crime and play it non- stop. Even people who aren't haunted by their actions would sufer from this because eventually a person would just want it to stop. That's only my opinion though.

He did too much harm but in a way..he has what's coming to him..and in another way..this is a bit scary considering the way people may react. This could cause much happiness but at the same time cause problems with people rebelling and such. All we can do right now is hope that it plays out fairly..

1. I'm don't believe in capital punishment, but I'm glad others do because in this case (and in the case of serial killers) it's warranted. No prison is 100% proven foolproof.

2. I wonder if it might be more interesting to put him in an iraqi prison for life, but that would be cruel and unusual.

3. I'm slightly entertained that he begged to be shot, and he was denied because people want him to receive the most cruel, unusual, and undignified death lawfully possible.

warm subject remember: i in my opinion like that keep, in basic terms for band tees. that is extremely like the only keep on the mall that sells band tees<3 i like them. And comparable, I hate how human beings are not afraid to bypass into warm subject remember anymore with the aid of fact they crammed up the placement with Twilight stuff. yet i'm happy the nice and cozy subject remember at my mall does not do this stuff:) in my opinion i like outstanding neon colours. the nice and cozy subject remember workers are rather relax to hold out with each and every time i'm on the mall with my acquaintances! i do no longer think of warm subject remember has long gone significant flow, actually no longer. Hollister: that is overestimated, confident. yet I used to love those form tees reason i presumed it develop into cool, yet having pronounced that, i develop into in 6th grade and that i knew no longer something greater effective. Now i'm a ninth grader and that i like continuously 21 and Nordstroms. I found out that their develop into greater form to this international haha. Hollister is my style of keep for cute tanks and cardigans! I regularly save the clearance area. :)

I guess I'm okay with it, because if he was let loose he would probably take out anger on US and try to do something stupid and destructful which would only cause infinite more problems, which we don't need! So...Saddam GONE = GOOD.

the iraqi ppl and government suffered at the hands of this cruel dictator for generations, they tried, convicted and sentenced him because they want justice and they deserve it. let them have their justice for the hundreds of thousands that have died.

There goes our best hope for a quick and peaceful resolution in Iraq. What our fiasco there has shown us is that he is the best person to lead Iraq...it's an ungovernable mess.
