Forget about "nice." People pleasing is a form of dishonesty.

Say what you mean and mean what you say without saying it mean.

When she asks to do something with you, you can tell her "no." You don't need to go through an elaborate explanation. If she starts bragging about herself, tell her that you would like to talk about something else. You are under zero obligation to be her friend and you owe it to yourself to have fulfilling and meaningful friendships with people you enjoy.

When I was in high school, I had a friend that would give me a ride everyday and hang out with me...until she said some mean and hurtful things. I forgave her (she never apologized nor asked), but I realised that I no longer enjoyed her company and never took a ride from her again nor did I hang out with her. We weren't really good friends, just two people that spent a lot of time together with increasingly less in common.

You don't need to make a big proclamation that your friendship is over. Your actions will show that it is. Be honest with yourself and her. Find and do other things with other people and enjoy your life!

quite, the only reason i could end a friendship is loss of genuine admire. My acquaintances and that i've got been by lots and continually remained acquaintances even into adulthood yet recently my pal advised me she didnt have anymore room for anymore acquaintances, thats her call no longer mine. yet even my pal rather much have been given me in worry with the regulation I enjoyed her besides. Heck, i'm acquaintances with my ex husband I cheated on and my cutting-edge boyfriends 2 exes in the previous me, I purely dont waste time in judgement

since she's your friend, tell her your concern.. that her attitude has been bothering you.. its her for own good..

now if she has no plan of doing something about it and you cannot stand her anymore, give some space.. not end the friendship..

hopefully, she'll realize shes at fault..

if she didnt, well at least you told her and not left her just like that..
