How do I remove urine from my daughter's mattress?

We have had a couple of leaky diaper incidents recently and I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a product or home remedy for removing urine stains.

It is a Twin size mattress.

Try using a cleaner meant specifically to remove pet urine and odor. I have found one in the pet section of Walmart that works really good at removing stains on furniture and carpet. If it can work on removing stains and odor of the urine of four adult cats from the back seat of a car, then it will probably work on that depending on how deep it goes, and how old it is. My husband is a Carpet Cleaner and has cleaned a few mattresses. The only thing you could do is to have someone with a truck-mount hot steamer come to your home and clean the mattress. If there is any smell left depending on how many times she has wet the bed have the tech spray some disinfectant and a deodorizer on the bed. They may need to do it more than once. And if she does wet the bed a lot I would suggest getting a plastic cover for the bed. Good Luck!

The best way would be to use a carpet steam cleaner. If you don't have one you can use a wet vac with some ammonia and water. If the child has really soaked the mattress there is no way you will get the deep down urine out.

Sponge with warm water and mild detergent and allow to dry - repeat using a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of white vinegar and hot water.

you can try carpet cleaner or a good stain remover like "shout" and then scrub it and then get a damp cloth and wipe it and then let dry...
