I have set my MAC to the hex for my pc - however I am still getting alerts on my firewall software. Does this mean that someone has been able to get THROUGH my router's MAC ? Pls be patient I am new to this. Thanks in advance !

using MAC address filtering is another layer of security and it will help.

do you have a static or dynamic IP address? it is very strange to see repeated attacks on a personal computer unless you are being targeted. if you use P2P you are greatly increasing your odds of attack, that software is a hackers dream...
