New Mexico. It has a wonderful culture, many artists and support for the artists, the best Mexican food in the world, bar none, and people who value their independence. It's quaint, interesting and varied in people and terrain. I live in Texas which has some good points, but so many people have out-of-date opinions about racism, animal rights and the environment. Completely stone-age.

I bet a place that sounds boring like St. Louis or Indianapolis would be cool because they're not too crowded and not too small, but they are landlocked like Atlanta so I might choose Florida, somewhere on the panhandle.
