Long story short- went to rollingstone.com- they have fake covers for the past year- one had the death of Syd Barrett- the other was a cover of Axl- I think Barrett had more talent on the tip of his acid washed tounge than Axl ever had- what do u think?

Psycho Syd no contest. Axl Rose is sooo full of himself he's a walking punchline. He thinks he's the next Sinatra. GNR are great, but Pink Floyd (even the older stuff) is so much more than music. To boot, Syd Barret was 100% balls to the walls nuts, and it came through in his music (see "Bike" or "See Emily Play". He flirted with that line between genius and insanity.

Yall are stupid. Axl rose is an arrogant *******. And talent has nothing to do with how many records you sell. I'm sure pink floyds dark side of the moon is way successful than GNR. I like GNR but axl is disgusting. Syd was a genius. He was very original and unique and his music is even overwhelming for me to listen to becasue it is that good. Syd is not forgotten. He will live on through fans like me who deeply appreciate his talent.

keeping in mind that axl was the driving force, lyricist, vocalist, and front man for the greatest band ever, and syd barretts pink floyd was not as good as gillmores floyd, i'd have to say AXL is a GOD where Syd is forgotten by almost everybody except you, me, dave, and roger.

no no no no no axl rose!!! if you look at who hs sold more albums axl comes top... if u look at hu the ladies love more axl wins again... if you look who wrote so many ballads axl again... and axl has been working on and album for over 10 years tryin to get it perfect! he is a musical genius but still nt as good as slash.... his name is coler to cause it spell oral sex!
