Supposedly it is bad luck for the new year if you leave it up after New Year's Eve. However, I know a person that leaves the tree up all year long. She decorates it for all the different holidays, like Valentine's Day, etc

I think December 31, New Year's Eve. I've heard it's bad luck if you leave the tree out after New Year's since some say there is a spirit of the green of the tree, but it's really your choice, however long you want the Christmas spirit to last!

Always around New Years. Depends on what day it falls on. This year for me will be 12/30 (since it happens to be on a Saturday so the husband doesn't have to work and I actually have help taking it down.)

I'm thinking Jaunary 6th, 12th day of Christmas, heh. But, on real terms, I believe you should take it down whenever you get the time, just don't procrastinate and have it up till something like Valentine's Day ; ).

usually the sunday after new year or the next, only bc that's the only day my dad has off, and he won't let ANYONE put the tree away (a fake one) bc he thinks we will mess it up somehow.
