How far along are you? It's not unusual for patients to switch doctors during pregnancy and for a variety of reasons. As long as you are straight forward with what you are looking for in an OB doctor, the doctor should have no problems. Your pregnant, and above all, you need to feel comfortable with your doctor.

I did... you have built up a trust with your doctor, and to have to start all over again building a bond of types, is difficult. Plus, you are used to the way that your previous doctor did things, etc., so it can be a little uncomfortable getting used to a new doctor's techniques. They should feel evaluated- this is YOUR body that they are dealing with. Just because they are professionals doesn't mean that they automatically are the authority on you. The doctor should feel that you are constantly evaluating his/her services, and know that the "customer is always right".

once you have an ultrasound the Dr. will degree the dimensions of the fetus utilising the device and could then confirm interior 5 days of ways far alongside you're. That way is greater precise than reckoning on the affected person to appreciate while the 1st day of her final era grow to be, how long her cycle is, etc, etc. desire this enables!!

It does make sense. I wanted to change to someone else because the doctor I had was so old he deliverred my husband and my husbands sisters and my first daughter! He had no bedside manner and came in did the "exam" and left without introducing himself or saying anything. He checked my breasts everytime I came in. I kept asking my husband is this normal and he said of course it is. I switched to a woman and she never checked them until after I had the baby..... I wished I'd switched his fingers were HUGE LOL

Not everyone is comfortable with their doctors and you need to be. It's your health and you need to look out for yourself and your baby. When you find omeone that suits your needs then stick with them but don't give up.
