The reason why I ask is because I suffer with depression and I feel everything which makes me sick and depressed. I read about Highly sensitive people and I had an aha moment.

No, I don't think being a sensitive person means that you will necessarily struggle with depression. But I do think that sensitive individuals need to treat themselves with the same kind of compassion and kindness they give to others. Otherwise, the constant giving can set them up to become emotionally overwhelmed or even depressed.

I'm very empathic and prone to deep depression. I'm gonna check those out.

No, depression is a mental disorder. I don't know if it's hereditry or anything, but it's always better to not have it.
