Yes, it can go that far.

Federal Court only sees civil cases in which there is a minimum of $75,000 dollars disputed.

Well, I don't know if it can go that far...cause my daughter's dad owes me over $5,500 in back child support...and it's been 2 1/2 years...

Good question, my ex owe's me almost 30,000.00 and I know a few people that owe over 250,000.00. These cases have never went federal.
