The cheapest but best gift you could ever give someone is something you make for them.
Something made with love.

I got a beautiful hand made quilt and I love it more than anything because it was made with love and that person actually set down and took a lot of time just for me, how special !

It can even be a dinner you make for someone or cookies or Candie. Everyone loves home made gifts and appreciate them a lot more than something bought from a store.

Good Luck and a "safe" and
HAPPY NEW YEAR !

My son made a treasure hunt for me. he just wrote clues on pieces of paper, hid them around the house, and my treasure and gift was a beautiful poem telling me how much he loves me. Now thats a gift that didn't cost a penny but meant such a lot!!

check out this site www.findgift.com here you enter in who you are looking to buy for and what the occasion is, then they give you a list of possible gifts from various sites that use this service (a lot of sites) . My favorite part is you can norrow your search to gifts under $10 if you want to.
Hope this helps , I always want to get a great gift for someone but never want to spend the $, this site helps me alot.

Homebaked Christmas cookies. Not too expensive, but they are kind of labor intensive and really come from the heart. Nowadays ppl are so busy that it's getting harder to find homemade Christmas cookies. I heard that Kelly Ripa baked hundreds of them in 2005 and gave them to her coworkers as gifts. A really nice Christmas story.

THE CHEAPEST AND BEST GIFT YOU CAN GET SOMEONE CAN BE A HOLIDAY CARD WITH A BIG HUG. BEING WITH THEM THRU THICK AND THIN. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A HOLIDAY OR BIRTHDAY IN ORDER TO GET A GIFT. JUST BEING GOOD FRIENDS; BEING WITH HIM/HER THRU HARD AND EASY TIMES.

Biscuits, new Christmas decorations, gloves from a pound store. Sometimes cheap need not be unlovely.
