Yes, there may exist a subterranean remnant civilization (no kidding), because the Mars Polar Surveyor has detected concentrated patterns of infrared thermal graphic heat extremely similar to "cities", but located underground.

Methane, a gaseous byproduct from biological waste, i.e. “LIFE”, has been detected.

Additionally, heavy equipment vehicular "tracks" have been photographed on the surface of Mars, as well as other "intelligent" anomalies", like a vast "farm" of black equilateral triangular structures all arranged in even rows, equidistantly spaces and directed towards the same cardinal point.

Also, on the Cydonia Plain the Mars Surveyor produced X-ray images of this vast region; this technique penetrates the soil, so the images were from 1.25 miles below the alluvium flood plain level, the site of an ancient flood in which 1.25 miles of alluvium soil was laid over this entire region. The X-ray images clearly indicate the geometry and geometric structures of a modern buried METROPOLIS (!), having titanic structures and a grid street pattern. I’ve personally seen these images; needless to say, they are absolutely startling.

There's probably alien bases all over our solar system if there were ever any so-called Martians there who were advanced enough to have space flight technologies. Michael Tsarion makes some claims about these people also. Where he gets his information and what history books is still highly questionable but somewhat interesting....for a little while.

Maybe not Mars. But its pretty ignorant to think we are the only things here in a universe as big as it is.

Yes. Two little robots that don't know when to quit. Anything else there wouldn't be an alien. It would be a native.

There is no evidence so far for multicellular life.

There is evidence for *possible* single celled life.
