Just remember to cleanse and moisturise your skin properly, morning and night. You're at that age, where acne might start playing a part in your life. If this is the case, its not the make up causing it, its your hormones. You don't have to spend a fortune on products (but its worth remembering lots of make up and cosmetics contain horses urine.......ewwww)

As long as you clean your face thoroughly every night (even when you roll in late and slightly worse for wear :)!), you will be fine. You also need to really moisturise your face before you put the make-up on and buy the best make-up you can afford, try to avoid the really cheap stuff.
I have been wearing full-on make up for over 20 years and I am a huge fan. Everybody thinks I am actually a lot younger than I am, a lot of this is probably down to genes, true, but you also can't go wrong with good cleansing, plenty of water and a good night's sleep.
Wear you make-up with pride, if that's what you want to do :)

Not too good. If you wear makeup all the time, when does your skin have time to breath??? If you have a day off from school or any other activities, just don't wear any makeup for the day! I know, I had an addiction to makeup for a while, I had to wear it everyday! My skin was a mess at the end of the day when I washed my face! I know that its hard, but just don't wear it for a day. Eventually, you won't need to wear it at all. And, you can get zits much easier than if you wear it. Mascara and lip products are fine, they don't harm anything. But if you wear waterproof mascara, most likely you lashes are dry and brittle, because that is the effect waterproof mascara has on your lashes. If possible, wear regular. If you are doing sports, just apply it after. Some people believe that eyeshadow leaks through your eyelids. Trust me, that IS NOT TRUE!!! Don't worry! Well, I hoped I helped you. If you use my tips, your skin will be happier!

Hi
For a good idea, check what your family's skin is like - mum, aunts etc. It depends a lot on your genes.
Apparently make-up does give you wrinkles earlier, a bit like smoking. (Nuns are the youngest looking women alive and its because they don't go out in the sun or wear make-up.)
Just make sure you cleanse tone and moisturise morning and night with good products. (I've been wearing make-up for years (I'm 30 now) and people are still amazed I'm old enough to have children!!!)
Oh yes, treat yourself to the odd facial now and again, get lots of sleep and drink loads of water. Good Luck.

NO Is the answer ...as long as its a good brand you should be OK if anything its protecting your skin from lots of UV and sun damage its better than not so just make sure you cleanse and moisturise and if perchance you do get wrinkles its not your makeup its probably genetic and maybe you might have earned them its natural comes with getting older unfortunately but some people get lots o wrinkles and others don't ...were them with a badge of honour their natural have a good 2007 wrinkle free

I'd suggest just wearing eye make up for everyday and washing it off properly at night and only wear full on make up when you go out to parties or something. If you wear make up that is over six months old it can be bad for your skin. You usually come out in spots or you can develop rashes. I'm a goth and I wear heavy eye make up but I don't wear all lipstick and foundation and I wash off my make up properly each night and my skin is okay. You should be fine as long as your make up isn't out of date and you wash it off properly :)

No, no no... I'm sick of the make-up haters out there!!! It's about taking a pride in your appearance!
As long as you cleanse, tone & moisturise morning & night, you'll be fine! I'm 26, and I've been wearing make up since I was a lot younger than you, and I still get asked if I'm 18 when buying booze! x

I think make up actually protects the skin because it form a barrier between the skin and the elements. The problem is when you don't wash it off properly

Wearing make-up will protect your skin. Do clean it all off before bed. A moisturiser with SPF 15 or more underneath will help keep you wrinkle free as you get older.
I am 66years old and my skin is wonderful because of wearing make-up & sun protection.

you get these tiny microscopic bugs in your skin called mites that eat ther make up. (every body already has these anyways but when you wear makeup it's worse) Your skin wrinkles earlier and loses its collagen. Then it becomes a never ending process cuz you start wearing more make up to cover up the damage caused by the make up. The younger you wear it the worse the damage will get. Not to mention clogged pores
