ok shes my ex best friend because she was be abusive. she would always pick on me make fun of my weight and tear down my self esteem.

she was being a huge b-tch and always made fun of me and when my dad died a year ago she never once said im sorry or anything then she kept calling me gay when she found out my sister had a girl friend so i stoped being friends with her then once i broke off the friend ship she harrasted me every dayand made up the evilest rumors about me.

I am not sure I understand your question, but I'll wing it... Ok you found out that your x girlfriends best friend wants to go out with you? Is that correct? I hope so. If not please post your question again be specific.
If you and your girlfriend have broken up then this isn't really your problem to be worried about. This is something that will be between your x girlfriend and her best friend. However if you want to be a gentleman about it then Id suggest that you ask this girl has she mentioned this to your x if not then ask her why not?
The most that will happen if you take your x's best friend out is that your x will be madder than a hornet with her best friend and possibly never talk to her again (for a while anyway) And course she'll give you the evil eye, but what should you care you two are no longer together as boyfriend/girlfriend.
If your over your x then take the girl out your a free guy now enjoy life and have a good time!!

First off, if she's your EBF, why? I'd get that cleared up first.
Is she *not* your friend because she wanted to date you? Well, then, if you want to go out with her, then ASK her out...duh. :-)
If you don't want to go out with her, then don't worry about it. Just tell her you don't want to when she asks about it and leave it at that.
Still, if the friendship you once had never got its proper closure, its best for you to sit for a face-to-face chat and close it up properly so neither of you carries any baggage from stuff being unresolved.

I think when she actually insult or tease at your weight, she means well.. If you are really plump, you should also take note of it liao! But if she ignore you due to your fat, den you can ignore her!
I think you should also ask yourself whether is she a harmful or useful friend? Definitely we would not allow a person who always hurt ourself to stay by our side!

you have said EX a few times..the best thing in all types of relationships is to keep that EX and ex....
and you said she was abusive then,....why give her another chance to hurt you
