My favorite part was the laughter-- carefree, childish, and just wonderful...

Watching the original Star Trek with my dad & stealing sips of his coke for starters & after the show we'd race down the halls with him popping wheelies in his chair with me clinging around his neck like ivy, laughing like crazy until mom got that warning tone in her voice and she made us stop.

That was the best.

I think that the most pleasant things in my childhood are the memories, the innocence of my thoughts, the carefree thinking and the good times I had with people who now seem old beyond years and friends whose ties of friendship were ripped by time. The emotions of happiness and safe that once I embraced with a carefree attitude and stupidity of wanting to grow up, compared to the sad emotion of nostalgia of a garden, on a spring day, with friends, in the sun shinning all year round, which haunts me whenever I think of my childhood. That is what I miss the most.

the simplicity of it all. you know how your parents say dont wish to be old your childhood will pass you by. soooooo true. i am 23 have a b.s., house, wonderful wife, 2 little ones, and i wouldnt trade any of it. but i guess i hurried through life (2.5 years for a 4 year degree, getting married 2 weeks after i graduated) all in an effort to grow up faster, and it made me who i am today. now i get to be a kid again with my 2 year old and 2 month old. so in a way i am still a child loving it all.

my favorite part was wandering with my father in the park... I always missed that part, I tried to remember it over and over again till it got almost surreal. But it always brings a smile on my face and a feeling of peace and protection...

Not having to worry about what was in the world. Being oblivious to everything but my microcosm. Plus the toys and playing with my brothers.
