although i hope it doesnt happen but i guess there will be lots of chaos from some setions of iraqi population on sadams execution because many of them did support sadam for good or bad reasons...and the scary thing is that iraq is at the moment already on the edge of a civil war and chances are that after execution it may worsen...but again i hope it doesnt happen because iraqi people deserve much better life

now is absolutley the most horrible time to do it. today and the next couple of days is the biggest holiday in the muslim religion, since muslims only have 2 holidays you could consider this a combination of christmas and easter. so it is pretty disrespectful to be killing the guy during the holiday and will probably cause more violence than had they waited to kill him after a week.

No chaos from Saddam. His men were not even loyal enough to put up a good fight. Sunnis and Shiites had rather fight among themselves. They don't need a reason like Saddam to fight over.

I think that the quicker the better, because it will give people less time to organize and plan retaliation. I also think that given the legal system and traditions in the mid-east, his execution isn't that quick. It just seems quick to westerners because of our slow-moving capital punishment legal procedures.
