If your wife is hurting you emotionally and she knows it than she obviously is not good enough for you. I have to wonder, why are you staying with her if she causes you so much pain? That is not love. You have to be strong and just leave her. It is better for yourself. If she is hurting you physically than it is illegal and you have to report it. Keep you hopes up and remember that there is a better life for you

I am not a man but I feel your pain. If you want to stay married her first you all should seek counseling to find out what is the source of your problems. Another thing is that make time for each other and time that you spend with other so you can miss each other. You need to ask her if she really loves you. If she says yes, offer to get counseling together. There are churches that are in all areas that give marriage counseling. One other thing is important is to pray on this situation. Praying together can make any situation better and more clear.Be positive and God Bless

You can leave and get a divorce too, not just her.
Also, you can pick up the phone and dial 911 just like she can.
You can always apply for an upgrade to your status with CIS

Move in with the guy friend from your country and ignore her while you seek legal process against her and next time be more careful who you hook up with.

um first If you want a divorce i suggest you do talk to a lawyer. i know its expensive but necessary . if she is threatining you by calling the police then you could get shipped back home no questions asked. no proof is needed in abuse casses. If I were you id grow some balls and leave her. there are manny fishes in the sea. luck to you.

Find a family law attorney in your area with experience in immigration cases. Check with your local chamber of commerce. They might be able to point you in the right direction. Or if you have a consul in your area, check there, too. Ask your friend if he knows anyone. Be honest. You need help.

You don't have to tolerate the abuse. Find help, and save yourself.

That is a relationship that nobody should have to deal with. You should give her an ultimatium. Shape up or ship out. If your truly a good guy, I'm sure you will find someone who will treat you with respect you deserve.
Best of luck to you!

You are entitled to file physical abuse against her -nothing says a man cannot do this. Some men refuse to file against their wives or girlfriends because they seem to think this makes them weak. You too have legal rights as a man when it comes to abuse-do it as she is not and will not change. She is wrong to do this.

Well, she is abusive and will continue to abuse you because she knows you have no other choice. You need to find a lawyer and ask him if you separate from her would affect your status in the USA.
Good luck

Try marriage counseling. If that does not work and she abuses you, then report her (Don't be scared to report her because there are a lot of guys who get abused by their wives/girlfriends and it goes unreported). Or if you do not want to report her, just get a divorce.
