Birth control is for age of majority females, and any type is a-1 okay if it feels comfortable, if you have to ask you are probably too young, otherwise someone in your circle of friends or family would have answered the q by now.

I have two children and have been with the same guy for years so I don't worry about STD's so this is easy for me, it it good for years and I don't have to think about taking a pill or going to get a shot or a patch and it is always there, no worry that we can't because somone forgot a condom.

i was on the shot for 2 1/2 years and it's convenient because you dont have to worry about taking it everyday.. just make a dr. appt. every three months and you're good... the only thing is that i gained weight but I had no period, which I loved... and when i stopped I lost weight.

Pill is too much for me, i knew i would forget to take it everyday.

My wife uses Mirena. It is semi-permanent, so you don't have to worry about remembering to take a pill. Also, it is removable if you want to have a child.
