WIth its pricetag and low selection of quality games, also,with talks of exclusive games like final fantasy and metal gear solid possibly hitting other consoles..Will playstation 3 survive these console wars?

I actually think it will. Despite everything listed above, I think Sony will survive. Prices will go down on the product and more people will buy it. Halo is THE MOST OVER-RATED GAME EVER, AND YES I HAVE PLAYED IT. Besides, Sony has more than 25 coming out in the next 30 days, so all is well :)

It will be hard. Sony will have to make a TON of consoles and GOOD games before Halo 3 comes out, or Sony will have their head under the guillotine.
Nintendo has nothing to worry about since they released a bunch of great games so far. Legend of Zelda, Red Steel, Elebits...etc...
Again, Microsoft has no worries, simply because of Halo 3. If that was the only game Microsoft ever made for the 360, they still wouldn't have any problems.
Sony better hurry up and make some good games and a ton of consoles, or Microsoft and Nintendo will take the top spots.

the prossesor is 10x faster the xbox360
the play ps2 games huge selection
guitar hero2
sleeker best looking design out of all next gen consoles
hard core gamers want extreme performance
and thats the ps3
the games on all consoles will take at least 1year to actully get good
halo3 everybody says will be the games that kills sony being xbox exlusive but have you seen the game called coded something but it looks 10xbetter then halo

I love ps2. But the ps3 seems like an over rated DVD player. They are forgeting to be first and formost a game system. Plus all the games are so serious where are the fun games like Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil. Not every likes war and racing games.

i don't think so. sony always tries to monopolize like with memory sticks and other cd formats like blu-ray. besides, not too many gaming companies are siding with sony because it costs at least 4 million dollars to even produce a game alone. that's a gamble and a half if their game doesn't get off the shelf!

I doubt it. They made an extremely expensive machine, making it expensive because they put in technology that noone really uses, except people that have alot of money already. The Wii is the only system that deserves the title "next generation"

i hope because i got one and i love it , it is awesome ,your right , the games arent all that, but imagine the games that are gonna come out later next year, they will surely be awesome.The Xbox 360' games are cool because theve had months to make them the best they can.Sony just made these games quickly to make money.The next set of games will be awesome! trust me
