How do you think we should go about this seriously? What do you think the Government should do? What would you do to help make a difference? How can we spread the word to others? How do we then implement these ideas?

It's more a question of creating or "fostering" world peace, not "resolving" it.

We have a good organization in place already for assisting in the resolution of disputes between countries. It's called the United Nations. Unfortunately, the Big Powers that make up the Security Council either get to decide what constitutes a "dispute" and vote (or veto) actions accordingly, or they simply ignore the UN's recommendations and resolutions and act unilaterally (i.e. the U.S.).

If the U.N. begins to function as it was intended, then more disputes will be resolved without warfare.

Unfortunately, Civil Wars cannot easily be mediated or prevented, particularly when national boundaries change or when ethnic tensions reach the tipping point.

So, No, we'll never have "World Peace", but we can mitigate tensions and global conflicts to a certain extent with the help of the U.N. and other inter-country/regional bodies.

Quite Simply:We can't resolve the issue of World peace.Oh, I sure we won't stop trying, but it ain't going to happen. The Bible prophesies state that we will cry peace, peace, and there will be no peace. That there will be wars and rumours of wars.Guess what? We're already there. The only one that will restore world peace is Christ at His second coming.
Not to be confused with the "anti-christ" meaning "instead of Christ" who will come before the True Christ claiming to be Christ and will deceive untold millions into believing that he is the true Christ. Oh, and by the way he "the anti-christ" is supernatural,so when he snaps his finger and a lightening bolt comes down from the heavens, people are going to go nuts.Hey, this generation will worship a rockstar, can you imagine what effect "a supernatural being who looks just like we perceive Christ to look like" will have on people!.I'll bet your asking: "where in the hades does this guy come up with all of this".Guess? It's Bible prophesy. Have you read it? Do you understand it?Better find someone to help you,or else you could be one of those poor unfortunate individuals who's down on their hands and knees worshipping the anti-christ.Hey, I wouldn't want Christ to find me in bed "spiritually" with the anti-christ when He does return. Can you imagine how embarassing that would be.Although the Bible does say that there will be lots that will commit a spiritual whoredom with "the mother of harlots" the anti-christ.

Well, first of all, we need to learn to love ourselves as we are. Second of all, we need to stop thinking so much about materialistic things. Materialism is the main cause of poverty, war, greed, etc. If money wasn't worth anything, then we would not care so much about getting it, right? Thirdly of all, we need to learn more tolerance and patience and to learn not to judge others so much. If we set an example for others, eventually we will have world peace. Peace first has to come from within.
