I'm hoping to go somewhere sunny in late February to get an early start on my tan.

Was thinking about Southern Europe maybe or the Mediterranean, but am not sure if it will be hot enough there at that time of year.

Just want to get some guaranteed sunshine so I can sit by the pool listening to my iPod with a cold drink. Not interested in culture or anything, just sun.

Egypt, the red sea area. I have been lots of times out of season, always hot and the best hols I have ever had. Try Taba, sharm el sheik or hurgharda. The hols are cheap even for all inclusive.

If you can afford it go to the caribbean if not Sharm el Sheik in Egypt. Europe has not got sunbathing weather in Feb. The canaries can be very iffy in Feb

Yes! Anywhere in Australia.
It is summer time there right now.

It is summer in New Zealand too.
Just go anywhere south of the equator.
