My brother is very proud, and I know he should be humble . How can I pray for him to be more humble ?

Not to be flippant, but I think you just did!
How you pray, and what you pray for, are between you and your god and nobody else. That's the whole nature of prayer. You can't do it "right" just as you can't do it "wrong". You just do it or you don't. There's no magic formula for success. If you really believe, you have to just keep trying.

Prissy, pray and ask God to make him a man after His own heart. Ask God to mold him and shape him. But something else that can be powerful spiritually is "ministering in the opposite spirit." This means YOU need to do things for him that are humbling for you. This can often break a stronghold. In the end, only God knows his heart. Many people do things that make them look proud but they are really out of low self-esteem.

Prissy, Just pray that God will soften his heart and work on his pride issues. Believe it or not that is one of the most difficult things we have as human beings to get over (that and patience). While you are praying also pray that God will reveal to you what it is your brother needs prayer for. Maybe there is some issue you are not aware of. Ask God for a listening heart so that if your brother gets to that point where he is ready to talk to you, you will be receptive to hear. Blessings.

Pray to God and ask him to make your brother more humble.
However, you have to realize that our timing is NOT God's timing
and you might not see results right away, but keep at it.
Praying is a good thing.

You don't sound very humble if you think you know how your brother should be - just enjoy your brother for who he is. Its not like he's a member of the KKK or a neo-Nazi is he?

Pray the way you pray. Only your brother can change his heart. Do good works around him. Serve as a good example of grace and humility.

Is this question for real? If you don't know how to pray why are you considering doing it? Why is it you get to decide how your brother should be?

Talk to him, don't pray! Do you even speak to your brother? Or does he not get the concept of pride? Just talk to him! You have the power to do that!

Close your eyes and bow your head and ask God to help your brother. In it's own time things will work out.
