I've heard both sides of the argument. One says it needs to be improved. Others say it's fine because it's better than the rest of the world's systems. If the system is the best, do we stop there? But since we are human, do we strive for perfection even though we never will achieve it?

Our system of justice has many flaws and could use improvement.
fortunately we can and will make some improvements.
Some of the flaws of our system unfortunately cannot be fixed because we ourselves as humans are those flaws; and fixing those flaws are far more dangerous than leaving them be.
Fair yes, perfect No.
Do some get treated unfairly? Yes
Do others get more fairness then their crime deserves? Yes
should we change our system? NEVER

It is better than the rest of the world's system, but ot can use a little improvement. When rich people can get off easy in many cases, like OJ Simpson, we need improvement.

The system has serious problems, and will never be perfect, and does need improvements. Still, it is one of the best.

It is as fair as the amount of money you have!
It is ironic that those with money, who have access to lawyers, want to eliminate the only voice the poor have, the ACLU! That will never happen!
Go ask an 8 year-old sexual assault victim if the system is fair!

It's good but not perfect. We should always strive to improve it, but nothing done by mortals can ever be perfect.

when people are pronounced not guilty by reason of celebrity. and the rich walk and the poor go to prison for less offences where blacks are considered guilty till proven innocent ...when they coined the phrase justice what they really ment was just us

havent experienced the rest but i know american justice is more fair based on how much money you have.o.j. robert blake etc.
