Some people have a special set of crayons or something put aside that the kids only get while the parents are on the phone.

Heck yeah my son used to be out the door down the street when I was on the phone .I didn't kill the kid thank God but he was really bad !
He is almost 18 and going in the Army soon !

Yes. They could be perfect angels all morning, but the moment I get on the phone they are fighting over toys or needing a snack or something!

I love when I am trying to talk to my sister and her 4 years old starts screaming for no reason in the background and my sister doesn't say not one word to her. That makes me nuts! Maybe I should suggest Big John's solution to the problem.

ye i have two girls an when i was talking to a guy on the phone that been trying to date my eldest daughter start to shout "mammys got smelly feet" i was so embarresed i just had to hang up the phone.

omg! my 3.5 year old does it all the time. sometimes i have to mute the phone and say "Stop, or you'll get sent to your room!" and my child then calms down. it's an attention thing, i suppose but it's irritating!
