we can't get a reliable baby sitter. How can we best spend our time? (myself, hubby, brother and brother in-law) keep it clean folks!

You're better off staying in and avoiding the mental drunks and overcharging pubs, clubs and taxis. It's all over in a few minutes at midnight and not worth the hassle at all. Happy New Year to you all.

So neither your brother or brother in-law are reliable baby sitters. Let them watch the kid(s) and you two go out. They probably get to go out more then you do anyway. Tell them they can watch whatever they want on TV and raid the fridge like all sitters. lol

Watch tv, play cards, play a board game, watch a movie, pop popcorn, make dinner, sit around and talk about what you want to accomplish next year, call up a friend on the phone, play on the computer, go to bed and sleep through it, mow the grass, clean the house and garage, etc....

Just have a party. Invite loads of other people round, especially the ones with children and have a really good night.

get yourself singstar for ps2 we did that last new year with family and neighbours and had the best time even the kids stayed up and joined in we were all very hung over next day (not the kids)

have a kid friendly party...........invite other people who have kids
to come & hang out at your house. Get munchies & some beer.... hang out!
