Many of them are very thin, which creates the appearance of longer limbs. Also, short actresses wear very high heels on camera at every opportunity so as not to be dwarfed by taller costars. And when the difference between costars is particularly huge, sometimes the shorter actor will stand on an apple box for closeups so that the camera can get both faces in the same frame.

the reason actresses and actors are short is because they want to get the a lot more of the backround. and like the other people said they are really skinny which also makes them look taller and the camera angles of course can too. I think some shows might even minimize stuff. like door handles i was watching tv once and i noticed that they would lower the handles on doors sometimes to make them seem taller.

They placed on heels each and every so often, and it would desire to be merely the way they tape it. yet another threat is that all and sundry else on the tutor/action picture is shorter than the only person you're speaking approximately particularly, so as that they seem tall whilst in comparison with the persons. it is so weird and wonderful, lol. That is a VERY good question.. It has A LOT to do with cameras, heels... Once, someone told me that in Charmed, for all the girls look about the same height, they´d get them proportional heels, so, they´d look taller and the same size... I guess that sometimes, when we have nothign else to compare, we just assume that their are taller... :D

i think is because they were clothes that make them seem taller. like short shorts and high pumps. they wouldn't want to wear something that made them look short like flats and long jean skirt
