How do they communicate? Ever heard of sign language or reading lips?
It would probably surprise you to know that there are LOTS of deaf people out there who are deaf as the result of disease or injury and not a genetic quirk. Therefore, they can give birth to children with perfectly normal hearing. Even the ones that are born deaf can have children that hear just fine.

Oh my you really are ignorant of the world. Chances of a deaf couple having a deaf child are very slim. There are many different types of hearing impairments and children that have these are taught to use American Sign Language. In this day and age it is very likely that you would not even know if a person was hearing impaired. The way you are speaking about people with hearing disabilities construes a bias that really is not the correct way to treat other people. You sound like you discriminate against those who have a disability and that is not a very good way to be. You really should try and educate yourself better as you come off sounding very rude.

Well my husband knew people who were both deaf and married. Their children weren't born deaf. I think that you need to stop assuming things that you don't know about. Deaf people do communicate through sign language with their hands. Where have you been all your life? Seriously come out of hiding and learn the real world. Oh and I forgot to add, that you too could have a chance of having a child that is deaf not just people who already are.

Of course they can marry each other- assuming it's a hetrosexual couple we're talking about.
The most common forms of communication for the deaf is ASL (American Sign Language) and lip-reading, often a combination of both.
As for children- it depends. If the parents were born deaf or have a genetic disorder that made them deaf, it is likely (but not a 100%) that their children will be deaf. If one or both parent became deaf due to injury of some kind, then the odds are very good that their children will have hearing. -- Children learn sign language almost effortlessly, so communicating with their deaf parents will not be too difficult.

Of course they can marry one another! How is being deaf any different than any other genetic disorder that one could pass on to kids? It's not a guarantee that two hearing-impaired people will have a deaf child. In fact, the opposite is much more likely to occur because deafness is not always genetic, and even if it is, it's a recessive trait. You can't stop people from getting married just because they can't hear. That's completely ridiculous.
Deaf people communicate through sign language.

Of course they can get married! They communicate via sign language and body language.
Concerning babies. They may or may NOT have deaf children. Depends how the genes fall into place. What's wrong with having a deaf child? Or a blind child? So, the child will have more difficulties in life, that doesn't mean that they are worthless and can't contribute to society.

There are many ways for the deaf to communicate and many reasons for their being deaf. Even if both were congenitally deaf there would be no reason for them not to marry, and I'm sure the possibility of having a deaf child would make them think seriously about pregnancy. Depending on their own attitude, deafness may not appear to be that great a handicap

Of course! Deaf people are still people, you know?
What do you think sign language was invented for? They should both be better at communicating than someone who is deaf with someone who isn't deaf, and they can both relate to one other.
The children's deafness depends on the type of deafness. If they acquired deafness through a burst eardrum or something, then being deaf is not in their genes. Some children are born deaf, but I'm not sure if it's something hereditary or not.

Deaf people communicate by sign language. Often times they may get married to each other because you need to be able to communicate with someone who can speak the same language as you in order to date them (for the most part). Consequently, there are a lot of other deaf people in their dating pool.
Since this is something they easily do from day to day and learn to adapt to, the possibility of having deaf children isn't such a difficult situation to deal with as it would be to someone who hasn't had to deal with deafness. They can do many of the same things we do day to day and they have other ways of dealing with tasks we use our hearing for.
A deaf person does not consider him or herself handicapped, they just speak a different language. So really there is no reason for them not to have children, even if there is a chance that the child could be deaf.

Yes they could give birth to deaf children, they can also give birth to hearing children. They communicate through sign language, you might want to check it out and actually LEARN something about the deaf I've left a link for you.
