If you get on the underground to st Johns wood it's only a very short walk , about two to three minutes. Ask someone when there as it will be easier then telling you names of streets your unfamiliar with.

Your best bet is to use a site such as the www.aa.co.uk or www.rac.co.uk use the directions finder. Enter your starting post code and then use abbey roads post code 3 Abbey Road | St Johns Wood | London NW8 9AY

Take a 139 or 189 bus - they go down Abbey Road. You can catch them from Oxford Circus. They then go up Oxford Street and Gloucester Place, passing near Baker Street station. (The 139 also serves Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus) Or its only a short walk from St Johns Wood station, or a little further from Maida Vale.
Just look out for the famous pedestrian crossing. Judging by graffiti nearby you will not be the first to have made this pilgrimage!

It is in NW8 in London. I would think the nearest underground station is St Johns Wood. If you put multimap in Google it will give you all the streets in the UK. Click on London they put Abbey Road NW8 in the search thingy and it will take you there

You need to get the Jubilee line to St John's Wood. As you exit the station, turn right across the main road and walk straight for a couple of blocks. You'll get to the corner right across the road from the Abbey Road Studios and "that" zebra crossing.

I did it myself a few months back, its well worth it:
