no of course not, if your husband cant appreciate the date enough to at least dress up then thats his loss. try telling him it'll be his costume for the night. ;)

I don't think so, and I'm a guy. Here's a thought: See if you can get him to dress for a nicer date, and then maybe try to make the "after date" a little nicer as well. Maybe he'll get the idea that dressing up a little sometimes has its benefits.

Well going out on dates- need more relaxed wear.Shirt and tie : are you going to the work place for dating.It's not an demand but your wishes!If he can full fill your wishes it's Great for both of you.Have a happy dating!

Sheesh, I try to get my husband to do this too! I see him wearing his work clothes so often that I love to see a change in outfits when we spend quality time together. I think the best way I get him to dress up is if I tell him how important it is to me to see him looking his best for me. I make sure he knows that I am always trying to look my best for him and that that type of thing means a lot to me as well... worth a shot, huh?

If not then it's time to go shopping. Also a little bribery always helps.
