Yeah ive noticed a few people thinking up some very difficult almost unrealistic resolutions for the new year. They last for one month, the next year they last for a month. BUT the next year may last for two months the next year may last for 6 months and finally its over. The change. LOL hopefully;) Are there any methods that might be better than just flat out time and expierience?

Any resolution for change, New Year's or not, takes massive commitment, a strong will, and much effort. Those who make Huge resolutions usually underestimate the difficulty involved, and are thus ill prepared to meet the challenge - therefore, they fail. The best way to make a change is a little at a time. It isn't nearly as painful that way.

If you do not set realistic goals for any endeavor you are prone to fail. Think about what you would like to change or do next year and be realistic. My resolution for this coming year is to learn one more useless or use full skill. Last year I learned to juggle ; )

My problem is that I always forget what I resolved to do so I fall back in my old rut. This year I'm making a note of them and posting them on the bulletin board in my room so that I see them everyday when I get dressed.

You should start your new years resolution a few days prior so when it is Jan 1st, u can say "I'm on my way".
