The Romans did trade with China but if this was by camel caravan Romans and Chinese would not have met as the goods would have been handled by intermediaries. The Dragon on the Welsh flag had its origin in patterns on imported Chinese silks used by Roman soldiers stationed in Britain.
India was known to the Greeks as Herodotus mentioned them and your other answers mention Alexander's invasion of what is now Pakistan and north west India.
There is also a story about Roman travellers to China bringing back silkworms.
As in the middle ages the extent of contact would have depended on relations between Rome and the Persian Empire and the state of central Asia through which goods had to pass.

yes

Two hundred years earlier Alexander "The Great" made it to India (The land of the great Hindu people), so they did "know"the Indians after Alexander crossed the Hindu Kursh (those big mountains) and well people in India told them about the Chinese and Mongols, etc..

If you be American's lets call our folks "Native Americans",
Columbus was responsible for the label.

Simple.
We all try and help each other here.

I live in Southern Colorado and lived a while back in Northern New Mexico home to many Native Americans. Actually not "bad" to call them Indians but never it school related stuff as it confuses people. But out of respect we should first use "Native AMericans" until we hear them use the other word.
