Atheism and Theism. Belief that there is a god, belief that there isn't one.
...The fact is , we ALL don't know and only BELIEVE.
Now, please don't flame me because I didn't do enough research, because these are only my thoughts.
Many people believe that God created the universe. But what is the definition of God? "A superior being who is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient."Now, if you had seen the videos, you would know, due to wave-particle duality, that we are supposedly all waves moving at a slow vibration, therefore we are all one. If we are all one, then I can conclude we are all omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient.(Since we are "all" present, "all" powerful, "all" knowing.) With that said, I can then say we are all God. We created the universe. This would make sense if we are all matter.Matter created universe.Hmmm..

That's like arguing that adults who still believe in the Easter Bunny and actually think it lays colored eggs are no different than those who find them ridiculous.

If all the universe was full of paintings; paintings of dogs playing cards, fall landscapes, famous portraits, paintings of color fields, and beautiful still lifes.... Each could still be unique, couldn't they?

Or must they all be exactly the same?

Just as there are many different kinds of paintings; there are many kinds of matter.

And even if the universe had only one painting, infinitely repeated....

that still would not make the painting become

the painter.

Paintings do not create themselves.

Even if the paintings all had voices
that would not make them all-powerful. It would not give them knowledge of all past, present and future things. Nor would it make each one present everywhere.

God's unique qualities are not found in matter. The properties of the Godhood are set apart from the temporary and fragile things we know.

To be God would be a frightening thing.

Who's self-control is so great that they would never think an angry thought, or fantasize some method of petty revenge.

God thought, He spoke, and all the creation came into being.

To truly be God means to have absolute power over all the creation.

Life, death and judgement are in His keeping.

Better Him than me.

Thank you angelhunt, i couldn't have said it better myself. Atheism relies on objectivity, science, logic and rationality. How does that equal to faith and explaining the unknown the same way our primitive ancestors did?

We Atheists are not the enemy of christians and other theists. Our quarrel is with irrationality, wishful thinking, superstitions, intellectual dishonesty, and all other forms of thinking that keep mankind mired in darkness, ignorance and hate. We'll be the first to believe in a god, just show us the proof. And don't say, look around us for proof....that's using CAVE MAN logic.

In some instances you are correct. we are made with God's spirit we breathed his breath into our lungs. He made us from the dust of the earth( made in his image). As he made all the things that surround us so yes we are all one under heaven. To say we are equal to God is incorrect. We as human beings do not know all there are still things that we don't know or understand. God knows all because he can see and created all.God has been and forever will be. He knows our past present and future. Any knowledge that we have has been given to us from God. When we die we go back to the earth and our spirit returns to him ( given that we have been saved aka accepted his sons death and turned from the worldly ways) because that is where it came from. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, from evidence of things not seen.

Definitely, they are one and the same, the opposite pole. the faces of a coin. They are opposing ideas, and ideas cannot be the truth. Truth is beyond the limitation of words. These are all creation of ignorance about the truth.. The product of an afraid mind. The mind that is afraid is just copying or a toe the line mind, it has no originality it accepts anything just to erase its fear of being nothing. To see the truth is to be free of fear and stupidity.

Hmmm...

There isn't, you're right, it's all belief. All each person can know is his/her own experience. If you experience god, then god exists for you. If you don't, it doesn't. The question of the "existence" of God is simply a categorical wild goose chase, and the answer is nonsense.
