Do you think a 22 year old female (with not much experience in sports or running) can outrun a 30 year old male if she trains hard enough? If so how long do you think it will take to train, if she runs everyday? Do you think she has a better shot in a long race or a short one?

yes. just run around your block or a park for however many laps you want to do. if you choose to do a long race, jog first, run second, and sprint third. if you choose to do a short one, jog first and sprint second.

Yes i think you can outrun a male. and for training during track season I practice about 2 hours a day run about 2-3 miles a day and in two weeks I can run a mile in 6mins. so I think it depends on the type of body and how fast she can run to say if she can run short or long... but I think long distance because guys can't really run for a long time... that's what I think

yes, you might be able to , it depends on how fit the male is. some are fast some are slow. it may take a year or so of good training and I would have to say a long race. most males are quick at the start.

As long as you're in shape and in better shape than him you will surely outrun him. You have to be fit. So bulk up, start exercising and eating healthy!!!

Depends what shape the other person is in.

Your best bet is to train long-distance running for a year.

Endurance-wise, women are up there compared to men.

its not becoz males cant run longer distances, its that woman are significantly lighter than males meaning less to carry. You look at athletes for sprinters and compare them with endurance runners, you see the difference in size muscle.

With some practice and a good diet, I don't see why not. Women pass men in marathons all the time.
Good Luck!!!
