Does anyone know if the guitar from Guitar Hero 2 works on Guitar Hero 1?

The guitar that is sold with Guitar Hero 2 WILL work with guitar hero 1.
However, If you bought a guitar hero 1 game with a guitar controller that was not made by red octane or SG those guitars will not work with guitar hero 2. Just in case anyone wants to know. I made that mistake when I bought GH 1 for my sons off ebay, the guitars are called "Rock guitar" and won't work on GH 2 without an adapter you have to order online.

yes - i have both and i play both and only use the guitar hero 2 guitar. its a fun game huh?

it doesnt u hav to hav the guitar hero 2 4 the guitar hero 2
and the guitar 1 will only play on thy guitar hero 1 game.
