A twenty Four foot extension ladder is what you need. For saftey the ladder must always extend three feet above the roof line (three rung) And be sure to set the ladder at a 4:1 ratio, for every four feet up the ladder should be one foot from the wall, you dont have to be perfect but be safe.

The ladder should be at an angle of 1 in 7 and 3 foot above gutter, put some 4*2 in the gutter to stop it braking. ps it gets scary

I'd say 28 ft. You will need to stand on the top rungs of the ladder-with a 20 you will be off balance and not high enough, a 24 might work, but the 28 will give you plenty of ladder and ensure your safety which is the important part. Oh yeah don't look down:)

I suggest a 28' because depending on application you will have "enough" ladder to carry you to just about every place on your home. There's many ways to place a ladder against something, but very few ways to anchor the feet.. with a longer ladder you may compensate for uneven areas and things like bushes and landscaping by moving further away from the house and extending the ladder; whereas' a shorter ladders propensity for "getting-to that spot" will likely leave you in a precareous position!

A 20 should be fine for most people. It depends on the turrain of the land, a walk out basement would effectively add another story.
My advise is to never buy a class three ladder. They are too flimsy to be safe, in my opinion. A class two is adequate for occational use. A class one is better, but the weight makes it harder to move around.
I would also get fiberglass, not aluminum and definately not wood. The issues are weight vs electrical safety vs price.

how high are your gutters is the first thing you need to know then get a ladder to get you higher than that you also need a stand off to avoid both damaging the guttering and to increase your safety it is easier to work from as well

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/LwCHb
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.

One that will reach..........twin ladder set should be long enough dont forget to have it away from the base of the wall far enough to stop it falling backwards and to have someone foot it
