America is not trying to help the world. They are trying to help themselves. The USA does not have an alturistic thought when it comes to other countries. We always have a plan and when you get to the bottom of it, it will promote a need for the USA.
Other countries resent that we come in and try to change things whether they want it or not. Look at Iraq. The situation deteriorates daily. The people cannot govern or control themselves. It is caused by religious differences/tribes and no matter what we say or do, we will not be able to soothe the differences and get a nice little democracy that will give us the oil we need.

America inexplicably was hated well before Clinton. Remember the book and the movie, "The Ugly American?"

The world hated us during Clinton - the first WTC bombing and the cole bombings were acts of hatred. Maybe you were not born or aware of any going ons then?
