I read in all his bios that he's 6ft... that can't be true cuz I've seen him in person and he looks a lot shorter than that.

I think he's 5'11 (without shoes). Its very common for celebrities to add an inch or so to their true height. He does not look like a true 6 footer.

He's not exactly 6ft tall. More like 5'10 i believe.
