honestly, you find ways to keep busy and eventually move on. It's hard at first, but when you DO fine the right person who returns your love selflessly, then you realize how much time you wasted crying or what not over the other guy/girl.

Take it in with great relish. You can rarely feel an emotion so strong. Try channeling this passion into something productive and cherish your time with every tear because soon enough they will be gone. Once that pain slips away, you may feel content but, to hurt is to know joy so I say again relish it.

I once fell head over heels with a married man once. When I realized that he would never love me back I decided to enjoy the thrilling emotion of love itself.

You realise that we don't always get what we want and that everyone we like wont like us back.
You then move on like a grown up would.
