Depends on your time of visit, right now till end of February should be fine for most people, unless you're a real weather freak. Just dress sensibly, cotton T's and bermudas works great, and acceptable in most location. most "higher class" restuarants allowed slacks and polo T's. If you're here on business, suits are fine too, and most commercial buildings and public transport is air-con. April to September should be avoided thou.

I've lived in the US, and in Singapore. I'm SURE you can at least be able to live with a warm tropical climate. Besides, if you're going to places with air conditioning, you'll be fine. It'll be cooler if it rains. -.- I sometimes would have it warm and sunny over freezing cold and snowing.
Anyway, sure, you could live with it for 2 weeks. You can find some shade or bring a fan(a slightly thick batch of paper works too). Or, as mentioned earlier, if there's some air conditioning, that works too. And common sense tells you, that since Singapore's on the equator, don't bring some jackets and coats. -.-

Right now, the weather in Singapore is quite ok. It is about 25 degrees C but quite humid. You can't wear those thick clothings you have; you'll have to wear like a single T-shirt and jeans.

The key to Singapore weather is to dress right. Wear light clothes. And make sure you drink plenty of water. Public transport(taxi, trains and buses), malls and most public buildings are air-conditioned.
Dont let Singapore weather intimidate you. Singapore is the portal to SouthEastAsia. A crossroad of cultures and races and it is worth paying a visit.

I'd say it would be VERY uncomfortable for you. I've been living in Malaysia-Singapore most of my life and have NEVER got used to the heat and humidity - primary reason why Disneyland have always rejected applications by governments here and for excellent reasons too. Who in his right mind would watch the main parade in 30-degree heat and get his brains fried? Mad dogs and englishmen perhaps.

If a Bostonian can tolerate the hot air from the likes of its politicians, you will have no trouble tolerating Singapore. It is one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the world.

It all depends how sensitive you are to that type of weather, and what kinds of activites you will be doing in Singapore. If you are going to be around a pool, or at beachs.. or if you plan on being inside by the AC you should be ok. If you going to be walking around alot it may be tough on you after a while...
I spent a week in Thailand and love the weather, and I am from Connecticut...

Singapore is a tropical country with very high humidity. It is like having a heat wave for two weeks. But you can always cool down on your hotel room or dip down on the pool.

It isn't really all that bad. Cos like mentioned above, most places and vehicles are air-conditioned.
Also, it's the north-east monsoon season from now till somewhere round February. So although there'll be rain, it will also be quite windy.
