British people don't hate Latinos, (the women are considered to be very alluring.) The Latin culture is very popular here, (in London anyway.) What makes you want to ask that question? Have you heard bad things about the UK?

Why are you asking that? We in the UK are likely the most tolerant race in the world. Probably because we are not one race. We are a mixture of peoples who have come to these islands for at least 2000 years. The process is still going on and many of us welcome it. Immigration from Africa and the Indian subcontintent means that we'll all be a pleasant shade of light brown in 200 years. Good, we won't have so much to fight about then will we? So don't even think of calling "the people" of the UK racist! A few scumbags are, but they will be subsumed within a generation.

I'm a Mexican. I've been to the UK many times and I love the country. I have never experienced "hate" or even bad manners from the British. But I remember an occasion when, on a trip to London, a fellow Mexican went with me and we went pub crawling and drank everything we could. The following morning my friend was having a severe hangover and he, a girlfriend I had in London and myself went looking for a place to have a beer at around 3PM. No pub was open at the time and we ended up in a cafeteria. My friend was desperate and was trying to ask, in Spanish , for a beer or other alcoholic drink, finally he gave up on the alcohol and asked for the other remedy we use in Mexico for hangovers, mineral water with lemon and a little salt, only that he was so intent to do it in Spanish and didn't want any help from me or my girlfriend that he kept asking for a "Tehuacan" which is the most common brand of mineral water in Mexico. This puzzled the waiter even more. When I stopped laughing at my friend's efforts, I ordered the water but my friend kept complaining for the "lack of understanding the British had" for the rest of the trip. I suppose one's experience tends to set prejudices that are unfounded.

what ever made you ask that? Did you upset someone, or are you just unfortunate enough to come across small minded, bad tempered people? I adore latin culture, music, languages..... the individual must be judged by his or her own behaviour and treatment of of others, just as any other person surely.

News to me. We hate everyone else, but we're quite partial to a bit of Latin.

I did Latin at school, it was a very tough language. I can't say it made me hate them though.
